Course Objectives

This course helps those who in health, social care or adult and young people’s settings and other related settings to gain general of understanding of dealing with service users who are at high risk of suffering a stroke. The course teaches greater understanding of how to identify the symptoms and effects of a stroke as well as treatment basics.

At the end of this course, learners must be able to understand:

  • Individuals who are at risk of a stroke

  • How to treat individuals who have had a stroke.
