This course is a mandatory requirement for people working the care sector.

  • The course is recommended by Skills for Care as minimum standards for people working in social care.

  • The course is recognised by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as minimum standards that people working in social care need to meet before they can safely work unsupervised.

Course Objective

This course helps staff and workers to understand the concepts of Diversity, Equality and Inclusion which are fundamental to living in today’s society and work setting. This course helps learners get used to what diversity and inclusion are and how they can apply them into everyday work values.

At the end of this course, learner must be able to:

  1. Understand the meaning, concept and importance of diversity, equality and inclusion.

  2. Understand how to work in an inclusive way.

  3. Understand how to raise awareness of diversity, equality and inclusion.
