Course Objective
This course helps those who work in health, social care or children and young people’s settings to understand mental health issues and how to cope and care for people with mental health challenges. The course also teaches the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and gives basic understanding of the importance of complying with the mental health Code of Practice when working with individuals who lack capacity.
